Frequently Asked Questions

Before calling us, please browse this list of frequently asked questions:

What do I bring to my first day of class?

Students will need pen, paper and payment at the first class. We welcome parents to come in and help fill out the application and class policies. We will send papers home with a student if parents cannot come.

What is the AAA Approved Driving School Network (ADSN)?

AAA has eliminated the guess work out of finding the best driving schools. Only schools that meet strict guidelines, including comprehensive education, AAA-trained instructors and reputable customer service, qualify to be a part of AAA’s ADSN. In addition, all ADSN schools offer their courses at a discounted rate to AAA members.

When can I take my license test?

You may take your knowledge test a few weeks before you are eligible for your license. Then you may schedule your drive test for the day of your eligibility. (There is no appointment necessary for the knowledge test.)

What do I do if I lost my driver’s ed certificate?

We will be happy to make you a duplicate if you will call the office and let us know (this may take a day or so).

How do I know if there is class when it snows?

We will typically take our lead from the nearest high school. If Eisenhower, Richland, KiBe, or Pasco High cancel school or let out early, there will be no class. If they hold school, we will have class. If it is a weekend, the decisions will be made by instructors about the condition of the roads. You are always welcome to call the office and check the status of class or drive lessons.
